Refunds and Returns Policy
TrainAtHome complies with Consumer Guarantees as required by the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC). We accept that customers can change their mind or that items received may occasionally be found faulty. If you’re not completely satisfied with a purchased item, you can return your purchase for an exchange, refund or repair in line with our returns policy and consumer guarantees.
Returns
TrainAtHome will happily give you a refund or exchange items within 7 days of purchase, provided you have proof of purchase and the product:
• is still in its original condition and packaging;
• has not been worn or used;
• if a perishable product, the product has not expired;
• if a medical or personal care item, it has not been used;
• or is entitled under applicable legislation.
Faulty Products
If the product is faulty, you are entitled to a replacement, repair or refund under consumer guarantees. Examples of a faulty product are when the product:
• is unsafe;
• is significantly different from the description of the product; or
• is received damaged, but does not include damage caused by misuse.
Proof of Purchase
Returns must be accompanied by a receipt or other itemised, verifiable proof of purchase. TrainAtHome retains the right to refuse a refund for unverified purchases.
Consumer Guarantees
Our goods and services come with consumer guarantees that automatically apply under Australian Consumer Law.
If you believe your purchase fails to meet one or more of the consumer guarantees – for example, your purchase is faulty, not of acceptable quality, does not match the description provided or is not fit for purpose – then you may be entitled to a remedy by law.
• Major Failure: You may seek a refund or replacement.
• Minor Failure: We may repair the item (or, at our discretion, we may replace the item or refund you) within a reasonable time.
When providing a remedy under consumer law, proof of purchase is required.
